Multifamily Syndications
Overview
A multifamily syndication is a structure through which multiple investors collectively acquire and own a multifamily asset. This structure enables qualified investors to participate in large institutional-quality properties that may otherwise require significant capital and resources.
Structure
A syndication is commonly organized through a General Partner (GP) and a Limited Partner structure. Each party serves a distinct role in the ownership and operations of the investment. The General Partner is responsible for the acquisition, financing, asset management, and strategic execution of each investment. The Limited Partner provides investment capital and maintains passive ownership interest without participating in the day to day operations.
